A bit about me….
My name is Sue and I’m the creative mind behind Felted Polar Bear Art.
I love creating with natural materials and after making Waldorf inspired dolls and toys for many years for Polar Bear Creations, I was introduced to the art of sculpting wool called needle felting. Needle felting has endless possibilities and has become an art form I enjoy a lot. I have many project ideas that I would love to create and I also enjoy doing custom orders and pet portraits.

I'm originally from Germany where I met and fell in love with my husband.
I followed him across the big pond and have since lived in different parts of Canada and the US.
We currently live in Yellowknife in the Northwest Territories, Canada.
Yellowknife is about 400 km/248.50 miles from the Arctic Circle to the North of us and about 1450km/900 miles from Edmonton in the south. We have long cold winters, beautiful Aurora and short summer under the midnight sun.
It’s a great place to live and very inspirational!
